Class size will be limited to provide quality instruction and personal attention. Class placement is based on students' age and ability at the instructor's discretion.

Recreational Pre-School Program

Mommy/Daddy and Me: This class is intended for toddlers ages 18 months-3 years and their parent/guardian. Elements of ballet, jazz, tap, gymnastics, and creative movement will be incorporated in the class. Dance attire not required.

Pre pre-school: This is a 40 minute class once per week with a preschool specialist. Class will focus primarily on tap and ballet but elements of jazz, gymnastics, and creative movement will also be incorporated. Tap (black patent leather) and ballet (girls-pink leather, boys-black leather) shoes are required. Pre-Preschool dancers will perform a ballet and a tap dance at the end of the year recital. This class in intended for dancers ages 2.5-4 or 2 years prior to entering Kindergarten.

Recreational All-Star Program

Kindergarten: This is a 55 minute class once per week. Class will focus primarily on tap and jazz but elements of ballet, gymnastics, and creative movement will also be incorporated. Tap (black patent leather) and ballet (girls-pink leather, boys-black leather) shoes are required. Kindergarten dancers will perform a jazz and a tap dance at the end of the year recital. This class in intended for dancers ages 5-6.

1st/2nd Graders: This is a 1hr 10min class once per week. Class will focus primarily on tap and jazz but elements of ballet and gymnastics will also be incorporated. Tap (girls-tan strappy tap, boys-black lace-up) and jazz (girls-tan slip-on, boys-black slip-on) shoes are required. 1st/2nd grade dancers will perform a jazz and a tap dance at the end of the year recital. This class in intended for dancers ages 6-8.

3rd-5th Graders: This is a 1hr 10min class once per week. Class will focus primarily on tap and jazz but elements of ballet and gymnastics will also be incorporated. Tap (girls-tan strappy tap, boys-black lace-up) and jazz (girls-tan slip-on, boys-black slip-on) shoes are required. 3rd-5th grade dancers will perform a jazz and a tap dance at the end of the year recital. This class in intended for dancers ages 8-11.

Middle/High School: This is a 1hr 10min class once per week. Class will focus primarily on tap and jazz but elements of ballet and gymnastics will also be incorporated. Tap (girls-tan strappy tap, boys-black lace-up) and jazz (girls-tan slip-on, boys-black slip-on) shoes are required. Middle/High School dancers will perform a jazz and a tap dance at the end of the year recital. This class in intended for dancers ages 12 and up.

Intermediate Competitive Program

2 classes per week for training in Jazz and Tap.

One required Ballet classes per week.

Competes at 3 regional competitions.

Dancers must audition and/or be placed in this class by the Studio 4 directors before registering. Please inquire if you are interested in this program.

Advanced Competitive Program

2-3 classes per week for training in Jazz, Tap, Lyrical (age dependent), and Musical Theater (age dependent).

1-2 required Ballet classes per week.

Competes at 3 regional competitions. Junior and Senior dancers will also compete at one national event (2011-2012)

Dancers must audition and/or be placed in this class by the Studio 4 directors before registering. Please inquire if you are interested in this program.

Ballet

Includes instruction in the fundamentals of dance training & Pointe. Black leotard, pink tights, and ballet shoes required. Hair must be pulled back into a bun. Please see front desk for appropriate class placement.

Special Sessions/Events

Dance Team Sessions, Master Teacher Workshops, and Summer Classes/Camps will be offered during the 2011-2012 season. Registration and information TBD.
